This Week's Assignments

What a year!

This school year was defintiely an interesting one. I have enjoyed working with your child this year. They have each grown and matured physically, mentally, and emotionally. I am pleased with the growth they have accomplished in class and with their peers. During the summer months it would be to each child's advantage to practice math facts and read as much as possible. I know that children cringe when I recommend this, but muscles that don't get used atrophy. We don't want our school skills to atrophy, so we should exercise our school skills throughout the summer.
The end of the year did not go as planned for anyone. We appreciated everyone's flexibility and patience. While we were learning how to create, edit, and publish content you were learning how to access and manipulate the work to turn it in.
Please tell your children that my classroom door is always open to former students. I enjoy seeing them and hearing about their successes. I hope your summer is filled with fun experiences and learning.
Sincerely,
Mr. Kinser
