Principal's Message - Ms. Martinez

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! My name is Jennifer Martinez and I am the principal of Forestlawn Early Learning Center.  I am a proud graduate of Ashland University, Bowling Green State University, and Concordia University receiving degrees in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Administration. I also hold a certification through Ohio State University in Reading Recovery and a reading endorsement through Ashland University.

Since 2003, I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade and was the reading specialist in a K-5 building. I have a son who is 13 and two fur-babies, Hayes and Griffen. Griffen, a Bernese Mountain Dog, is a certified comfort dog and will hopefully be able to bring his joy to our students soon! Hayes, an English Cream Retriever, is currently in training to follow in his big fur-brothers paw-steps. I am an avid sports enthusiast and my love for Ohio State football runs deep, just take a look at the pups names.

I am incredibly excited to work alongside such a strong group of educators where our goal is to provide comprehensive learning experiences that inspire, excite and educate our students for future academic success. This year promises to be filled with lots of learning, discovery, and fun! I look forward to all of the opportunities that we have ahead of us!

Please do not hesitate to contact me at Forestlawn Early Learning Center 440- 949-4238 or through email at [email protected]
